HMA Agro Industries Limited was established in the year 2008. This group has been in the meat industry for over four decades. The company is the flagship of the group and a three-star export company recognized by the Government of India. The company deals in buffalo meat and related products. Unlike beef or pork, buffalo meat is free from religious constraints and has the added advantage of being low in fat and cholesterol. The meat produced for export is boneless and boneless frozen halal buffalo meat.
The raw material is procured by the company itself. Subsequently, this raw material is transferred to various processing plants, which process the raw material into finished products and export these branded finished products through their distribution channels. The company is currently one of the largest exporters of frozen buffalo meat products from India, accounting for more than 10% of India's total frozen buffalo meat exports. Its products are mainly packaged under the brand names "Black Gold", "Kamil" and "HMA" and exported to over 40 countries around the world.
