Accent Microcell Limited primarily focuses on manufacturing of high-quality cellulose-based excipients. It is one of the global leading manufacturers of Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC).
The company manufactures 22 grades of MCC from 20 microns to 180 microns which is used as a texturizer, binder, lubricant, anticaking agent, and bulking agent. It markets its products under the brand name of “accel”, “maccel”, and “Vincel”. Its products are used across industries i.e., Pharmaceuticals, Food, Cosmetic, Nutraceutical, and others. It sells its products in the domestic market as well as overseas in countries including USA, Canada, Germany, UK, Japan, China, Australia, Korea, Netherlands, Turkey, Vietnam, Italy, Indonesia, Poland, Egypt, France, Thailand, New Zealand, Brazil, Russia, Mexico, Chile, Zimbabwe, Denmark, Greece and many others.
It has two manufacturing facilities located at Pirana Road, Ahmedabad and Dahej, SEZ (Bharuch). The two unit has an aggregated manufacturing capacity of 8000 metric tonnes per annum.
The company is developing another facility at Navagam Kheda which is expected to be completed by March 2025. The new unit will boost total manufacturing capacity by 2400 metric tons.
